Charldera holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of the West Indies as well as a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Queen’s University, Ontario.
Charldera’s practice is focused on commercial and residential real estate law and corporate law.
Her real estate practice includes purchases, sales and mortgages of commercial and residential properties.
As an entrepreneur, Charldera is passionate about assisting budding entrepreneurs with establishing their new business. In her corporate law practice, Charldera can provide strategic counsel to owners of private businesses, strategic business structure advice for sole proprietorships, joint ventures, partnerships and corporations; and negotiate and draft business agreements.
Prior to specializing in real estate and corporate law, Charldera’s practice has also included civil litigation and employment law. During her time as a law student, she worked as a law clerk at a variety of firms in Toronto in the areas of real estate law, corporate law and construction law. Charldera’s clients benefit from the legal skills she has acquired over the years.
During law school, Charldera successfully competed in various moot competitions and was recognized for excellent academic performance on the Dean’s List. During her graduate studies at Queen’s University, she worked as a research assistant on projects that focused on equity and diversity issues faced by international students and presented her master’s thesis at the prestigious Asper Review of ITB Law Conference in Manitoba.
